Switzer’s Auction and Appraisals are seeking applications from a multi-talented individual to join our team.

Full-time, Permanent

Competitive wage ($19 – $21 per hour), benefits, and profit sharing

Regular office hours 8:30am – 4:30pm Mon – Fri, plus 6 to 8 Saturdays Sale dates per year, extra hours as required.

Qualifications

Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment

Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Computer skills – Microsoft Office

Experience with firearms, ammunition and militaria would be an asset but not a requirement.

Ability to lift up to 60lbs.

Candidate will be required to have or be able to obtain a Non restricted and Restricted Firearms License

Driver’s License

Criminal record check to be completed prior to employment

Job Duties

Handling incoming and outgoing products for sale, ability to sort, research, group items for sale

Data entry experience using Microsoft Excel, spreadsheet data entry

Photographing items for auction sale

Picking and packaging customer orders for shipping

Cleaning, and other duties as required.
